So I've been eating these cookies pretty much my entire life! This recipe started from my mom but of course I added my own touches to it, as anyone would as they master a food/recipe! I can't wait for you guys to try these. I will add my own variations to it and then put the classic way to make them as well, if you prefer to make them that way, go for it! Here's to deliciousness. Tis' the season for all the COOKIES! Keep in mind, I pretty much always use organic ingredients but if you don't it's not a big deal. Buy what you like! 😉
Â
Ingredients:
Oat flour (or regular) 3 cups
Baking trivia (or regular white sugar) 1/2 cup
Vanilla 1 tsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
Raisins (or craisins) 1 cup
Eggs 2
Brown Sugar 1/4 cup
Butter 1 stick + 6 tpsp (softened)Â
Oats 3 cups
Baking Soda 1 tsp
Cinnamon 1 tsp
Honey 1 tbsp
Â
Directions:
Heat oven to 350!
Mix wet ingredients together first. Beat/mix sugar and butter until creamy. Then add in eggs, honey, and vanilla and mix well.
In a separate bowl mix dry ingredients together. Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Mix it on up!
Then add oats and raisins to your dry mix bowl.Â
Start to fold dry ingredients by the heaping spoonful into the wet ingredients bowl. Once all mixed nice and thick, either roll into balls or drop dough by the spoonful into an uncreased cookie sheet. Cook on 350 for around 8 minutes. I prefer my cookies to be super soft so I like to cook them around 8 minutes always for that perfect chewy/soft texture.Â
I hope you guys enjoy! These are one of my fav cookies to make all year round!
