5 Steps Easy Steps to Become a Healthier You

Beauty blogger blog post on steps to becoming happier

Hello everyone and Happy Tuesday! My name is Brittany creator of Glamified Beauty and today I want to share with you some tips on how you can become a better healthier you in just five easy steps. It can sometimes be hard to live a well balanced, healthy, fulfilling life but with these steps, you will be able to do just that. Simply think it; do it, and you will believe it.

Let's Get Mental

Compliment yourself- As soon as you wake up in the morning make it part of your routine to give yourself a meaningful compliment. Start by telling yourself how beautiful you are by complimenting your hair, the way you look, how you feel, etc. Let yourself know that YOU are confident and that despite anything that may happen...Today will be a GREAT day! By using this easy tip, you are sending positive energy throughout your day.

DON'T MAKE EXCUSES- If your goal is to get fit or become healthy, don't make excuses. NO EXCEPTIONS! It's ok to mess up once in a while but don't use that mess up as an excuse to why you aren't where you want to be. If you plan on going to the gym that day, then DO IT! If you plan on cutting out certain foods, then DO IT! Stop making excuses for yourself because excuses get you nowhere.

Practice positivity- Stress is one of the biggest silent killers there are. It can lead to many diseases, which can be avoided by living as stress-free as you possibly can. Try being more positive and optimistic about life. Try not to stress about small things. Throughout your day take a moment to sit back, breathe, and reflect on all the good that has come to you in this lifetime.

Nutrition Counts

Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate- It is important to hydrate because it helps you stay fresh and not always quenching for thirst. Tip: try leaving a bottle of water next to you before going to bed; when you wake up you will have no excuse not to hydrate. Your body is made up on average of 55% of water for women and men its about 60%. So replenish the water in your body by staying hydrated.

You and food don't have to be besties- It's ok to love food but don't try to replace food with relationships. When I say this I mean try not to use food for comfort. It's easy to get distracted and overeat if you do. Be sure that you are eating the right foods; nutrient dense food so that you can always perform at your best (which is when you are energized)

If you don’t take anything away from this blog post, take away this… Your body is your temple and you should want to treat it as such.
