How to Create a Life you Love

how to create a life you love blog post

It's officially August and I'm sitting here wondering how the HECK we got so far into this year so dang fast! I was thinking six months in had to be some sort of joke but now here we are with only five months left in 2018. It's crazy how fast time flies. But to be honest I'm ready for Fall/ Christmas, haha. Aka my two favorite times of year.

When was the last time you sat down and evaluated your life? I personally do it quite often. What do you want out of life? Who do you look up to? Where do you want to be when you're creating content and working? What kind of office do you dream of? What kind of work space could make all your dreams come true? I make lists like you wouldn't believe. I have been praying for weeks now for God to push me in the direction I need to go. Asking for answers. Trying to figure out what's next, how to grow, and where I should be putting my energy. I have so much fun creating content, writing, making graphics, and learning about social media. I have been diving into online classes and courses and I am really enjoying it. Who knew it would be so much fun? Taking the time to evaluate your life and what you want in it is an essential part of growth. Since my word for the year is growth, how fitting is it that it's exactly what God is pushing me to do? When I get down on myself for being 30 and not having all those expected boxes checked, I get back to the drawing board. Since my life doesn't (and won't ever) look like other people's at my age, I think it's awesome that I get to decide what happens with it. It's been almost a year since I started You are Worthy and I have learned so much in a short amount of time. I have so many goals, dreams, and aspirations for my future. I literally cannot wait to continue to create a life I love to live. We get so caught up in what other people expect us to do with our lives, that we forget it's in our control, not theirs. We don't have to sit at a desk and work for someone else if we don't want to. We can choose to start a company and work from anywhere, while traveling the world, if that is what our heart desires. You can create a life you love. There are several Christian women that I look up to as role models in this industry and I have to say that my two ultimate favorites are Joran Lee Dooley and Jess Connolly. They are both incredible women of faith who show their love of Jesus through their Christian based businesses. My mission has always been to spread faith through clothing and words but that has quickly evolved into other things. I look forward to the future and I fully believe in myself and what God has gifted me to do. I hope you'll find something that helps you create a life you love. Whether that is working for someone else or cultivating a life you can enjoy. If you haven't figured out what you want to do with your life, don't give up hope. God has a plan for you, just like He has one for me. Dig deep and find that purpose. Anything is possible.
